FailoverTier

Struct FailoverTier

Source
pub struct FailoverTier {
    pub name: String,
    pub kind: WorkerKind,
    pub timeout: Duration,
    pub retries: usize,
}
Expand description

A named tier in a CascadeFailover configuration.

Each tier wraps a WorkerKind and adds a per-tier timeout and retry count, so that more expensive tiers can be given shorter timeouts than cheap local fallbacks.

Fields§

§name: String

Human-readable name for this tier (e.g. "premium", "standard", "local").

§kind: WorkerKind

The provider/worker kind for this tier.

§timeout: Duration

Maximum time to wait for a single attempt on this tier.

§retries: usize

Number of times to retry within this tier before moving to the next.

0 means try once (no retries); 1 means up to two attempts, etc.

Implementations§

Source§

impl FailoverTier

Source

pub fn new( name: impl Into<String>, kind: WorkerKind, timeout: Duration, retries: usize, ) -> Self

Create a tier with a given name, provider, timeout, and retry count.

§Panics

This function does not panic.
