Glyphstorm. Last updated 10 September 2026.
Glyphstorm collects nothing, sends nothing, and stores nothing about you. It has no network code of any kind.
When you choose a photo or a video, iOS hands the app that single file and nothing else. The app reads it, converts it to characters on your device, and writes the result to a temporary file so you can share it. Your media is never uploaded, never copied anywhere permanent by the app, and never seen by anyone but you.
The app does not request access to your photo library. It uses the system picker, which is why you are never asked for permission: iOS gives the app only what you picked.
Nothing. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, no account, no login, and no server belonging to this app. No data is collected, so none is shared, sold, or linked to you.
Exported files are written to the app's temporary folder and handed to the iOS share sheet. Where they go after that is your choice, and is governed by whichever app or service you send them to.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
