Minder

1. Overview

Minder does not collect any data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no servers. Your focus minutes and eye settings are stored only on your device.

2. Face data

What is collected. If you turn on "Follow my face" (it is off by default), Minder uses the front camera during a work session to detect the position of your face in each camera frame. The only information derived from the camera is the rectangle where your face sits in the frame, expressed as a single position (an x and y coordinate). No image, video, facial features, facial geometry, faceprint, identity or biometric data are captured or derived.

How it is used. The face position is used for exactly one purpose: to point the on-screen eyes toward you. It is used for nothing else.

Storage. Face data is never stored. Each camera frame is processed in the device's memory by Apple's on-device Vision framework and released immediately. The resulting face position is used only for the current animation frame and is then overwritten. Nothing is written to disk, to iCloud or to any server.

Retention. Face data is retained for zero seconds beyond its immediate use. Nothing persists after the frame is processed, and nothing persists after the work session ends or the app closes.

Sharing and disclosure. Face data is never shared with, sold to, or disclosed to anyone. It is not shared with any third party, and no third-party SDKs, analytics or advertising libraries are included in the app. Because no face data is ever shared, no third party ever has access to it.

Revoking consent and deletion. You can turn off "Follow my face" at any time in the app, or revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Camera, Minder. Either action stops all camera use instantly. Because no face data is ever stored, there is nothing to delete; deleting the app removes everything the app ever kept on your device.

3. Motion

During a work session the app reads device motion to notice when the phone is picked up. Nothing is stored.
