Module: Persistence

Responsibility

Provides a pluggable persistence backend trait and a FilePersistenceBackend that stores serialized state as files on disk using tokio::fs.

Guarantees

• PersistenceBackend is object-safe via async-trait
• FilePersistenceBackend stores each key as a file in a configurable directory
• Non-panicking: all operations return Result

Feature Gate

This module is only compiled when the persistence feature is enabled.
